Every child can suddenly become shy. Your confident, chatty child can be transformed into a quivering wreck in some social situations with other children and adults, but this is perfectly normal. Any small anxiety can trigger a bout of shyness.
Shyness can be mistaken for moodiness, so here are signs of shyness to look for:
• Looking down He has a problem making eye-contact with the other person, and suddenly finds his feet fascinating!
